Nursery program (1-2 years old)

As a caring and nurturing international school, we are committed to providing comprehensive educational services to families in our community. Our daycare program is specially designed for children aged 1-2 years old to provide a warm, safe, engaging and challenging environment to promote their emotional, physical, intellectual, social and creative development and provide them with Be prepared for your learning journey.

    At this stage, we adopt the globally recognized Alberta curriculum framework and incorporate elements such as games, music, dance, sports, and STEAM activities to cultivate children's curiosity and desire to explore, while laying the foundation for literacy, arithmetic, and language learning.

    Key features of the course include:

    1. Exploratory learning

    Children aged 1-2 are in the stage of exploring the world around them. The curriculum can provide a rich environment for exploration and interaction, encouraging children to actively touch, explore, and discover the surrounding environment.

    2. Social and Emotional Development

    This stage marks the beginning of building social relationships and emotional connections. Lessons may emphasize interaction, cooperation, and sharing with other children to promote social skills and emotional development.

    3. Language and communication

    For children aged 1-2 years, language development is an important milestone. Courses can focus on providing rich language stimulation and interactive opportunities through singing, storytelling, dialogue, etc., to enhance children's language and communication skills.

    4. Massive exercise

    Children begin to engage in gross motor exercise at this stage. Lessons may include age-appropriate activities such as grasping, crawling, walking, running, etc. to promote their physical development.

    Admission requirements:

    1. Children must be 1 year old before September 1st of the current year.

    2. No potty training required.

    3. Child care is open Monday through Friday and includes breakfast, lunch and snacks.

    4. No transportation service is provided. Parents are responsible for picking up and dropping off.
