Recently, Li Minghui, a 10th grade student from CIS, won the second place in the women's group A of the Volvo National Youth Championship.In about six years of golf career, her goal is very clear: there is only one championship trophy. I believe that this goal will lead her further and further.
Returning to Li Minghui’s golf journey was actually a choice made after going through big waves.

Why golf? What can it bring you?
My mother took me to try various hobbies since I was a child, such as swimming, ballet, painting, etc... But by chance, I came into contact with golf at the age of 11. For me, the fun of golf lies in hitting the ball crisply and clearing the air. Listen to the sound and appreciate the scenery of each different field and each different hole. Over the years, this sport has subtly helped me build a healthy body and a strong will, allowing me to continue studying and training at high intensity.

What’s the gain?
On the first day of the competition, I had a very bad result, which made me feel disappointed, even though my ranking didn't seem bad, tied for fifth with three people. However, the coach and parents did not blame me for the results. Instead, they analyzed today's mistakes and tomorrow's strategies with me. I calmed down and decided to achieve better and better results in the remaining two days. As the last ball went into the hole on the third day, I learned that my ranking had reached second place. I was very glad that I did not give up on myself on the first day, but enjoyed the process and results of the comeback. Every game was worth it. Take it seriously.
After enrolling in CIS, what do you think about your future golf career?

The school is very close to my training venue (Junlan Golf). It takes about 5 minutes to get there after class; at the same time, I can also adjust my courses according to competition and training conditions.
What are your future golf goals?
There is only one championship trophy.

Letting children run in their passion is the philosophy that CIS adheres to.
How to build a platform for children’s dreams? I have to mention this golf course that has no “ceiling” in CIS.
