Hi everyone.
This afternoon, we ushered in the first month of school at CIS. This is a wonderful start to our school journey. This is a very busy time for everyone, from students and staff to the administrative and marketing teams – our entire team is working hard. At the same time, it is very hectic for parents like you to adjust to new schedules, new curriculum, and new experiences in a brand-new school like CIS.

I want to say to you all: I'm so grateful for your support and couldn't be more excited about the start we've made. We still have a lot of work to do and will continue to do so in the future. At the same time, we still have many directions in which we can continue to develop, and relevant plans have been made.
If we look back on the first month, there is a lot to be grateful for and celebrate, especially the foundation we have built and the work we are moving forward. We will ensure that these outcomes become part of community life and part of our identity.
We can also think about it. During this time, we held a very successful "curriculum night", which not only understood the current situation of classroom teaching, but also looked forward to the key arrangements for this school year. What's even more rare is that we interacted with each other in formal and informal exchanges during a warm dinner. This dinner was unforgettable. It was a wonderful start to our school year and is deeply engraved in my memory.

We have launched several projects that are critical to us, including the Rising Stars Golf Academy and related golf programs.
Xinxing Golf Academy was established
We also launched the "Northern Lights Orchestra" and related music curriculum projects, which is a very rare innovation in the first year of the school. Pupils across the school have the opportunity to learn an instrument which can become part of an orchestra if they wish. This opportunity allows students to be exposed to a high level of music education from the outset.

Furthermore, we are very pleased to see that over 60% of students chose this opportunity,CISThe cooperation with Xinghai Conservatory of Music, one of the most prestigious music conservatories in southern China, allows children to learn musical instruments for free.
At the same time, we are also actively establishing new daily management models and curriculum to help students gradually adapt to the rhythm of campus life and integrate into regular study and life.
At the same time, we also launched the ASA project, which is divided into two parts. The first part is a free intensive English course that focuses on improving the English proficiency of all students. Whether they are English beginners or students who already have intermediate and advanced English proficiency, we provide them with appropriate support to help them further improve their language proficiency. .
The second part, the ASA 2 program, provides a rich after-school activity program open to all families. The diverse content of these activities provides students and parents with more options to explore different interests and skills after school, further enriching their campus life.

It’s exciting to see students actively participating in activities such as basketball. Especially when it comes to basketball, I'm very excited that within the first month of school, our first varsity team has already started to be formed. The enthusiasm and team spirit displayed by the students was inspiring and future competitions will undoubtedly bring many more exciting moments.
Student enthusiasm for extracurricular activities is growing rapidly, especially for sports such as basketball. I am very much looking forward to seeing the CIS Dragons represent Foshan CIS against other schools for the first time, and hope that we can create a surprise victory and win our first victory in a basketball game. This is really exciting!
Of course, the launch of swimming courses in the ASA project is also worth looking forward to. We have an excellent 25-meter swimming pool, which is currently in use and provides an excellent swimming training environment for students. This not only enriches students' extracurricular life, but also provides them with all-round growth opportunities.

We look forward to further developing co-curricular activities and curricular programs, whether it is the advancement of the Alberta Curriculum, A-Level curricula, or the development of the School of Creative Design. Through these projects, we will provide students with more diverse learning experiences and promote their all-round growth and development.

Of course, we cannot ignore the excellent performance of the Early Childhood School (ECE). The children, who are only 1 and 2 years old, are gradually adapting to the new school year and integrating smoothly into campus life. They have made significant progress during this important growth stage, demonstrating the success and effectiveness of the ECE project and laying a solid foundation for future learning and development.
We received a lot of feedback about the children’s active engagement and meaningful lessons in their daily activities. These programs effectively promote the development of their early learning, early literacy and early mathematics skills. Children are involved in play-based activities and it is really exciting to see the continued progress in Early Years Education (ECE).
Now, as I record this video and say hello to you all, it's Friday afternoon and we're about to enter China's National Day holiday. Here, I would like to extend my sincere greetings to all families and wish you all a happy National Day and a happy holiday.
In the letter I wrote to parents this week, I expressed my sincere feelings for China. I love China, its people, culture and history.Being able to celebrate a holiday in China and be part of this community is a great honor for me and something we at CIS Foshan want to highlight and celebrate with everyone.
So, I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or one of our amazing students, thank you all for your hard work and wishing you a wonderful holiday. I look forward to seeing you all again in just over a week and getting back into your first semester of study.
After the holidays, I'm really looking forward to upcoming events like our Orange Day - which you'll be hearing more about soon, and our Pumpkin Day.Our field trips and other activities will also be gradually carried out. At the same time, a parent association will be gradually established after the holidays.
There are many exciting things to look forward to in the future, and there are many activities worth participating in. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone for your support and dedication so far, and encourage everyone to continue to support us, actively participate, and provide more feedback and suggestions.
We are looking to grow, develop and improve, striving to make even greater strides in academic excellence and caring for the community, benefiting everyone in the community at large, especially the children who we truly love and care for.
